SFBB Systems’ innovative development ideas for HACCP based systems enabled them to assist the internationally recognised Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in the development of the CIEH Food Safety System for food businesses in Oman and Dubai. This has led to William Wood leading the Food Safety Academy for the National Hospitality Institute (NHI) in establishing a programme of food safety consultancy activities across Oman. Working with a team of training professionals the team, based in Muscat, currently provides services to approximately forty clients. Some of these are shown below.

National Hospitality Institute Oman

The National Hospitality Institute is the leading provider of quality vocational training for the Hospitality, Catering and Travel Industries in the Gulf region. Located in Muscat, Oman. A significant part of their services are orientated around their Chef's School, with it's dedicated training kitchens and restaurant, as well as a Food Safety Academy which delivers training and consultancy activities in-house and in the industry.

SFBB Systems were introduced to NHI in 2012 by the CIEH, since then William Wood has led their Food Safety Academy consultantcy team and has developed a wide ranging portfolio of clients delivering specialist Consultancy activities including  Food Safety Management / HACCP System development and implementation, Auditing, HACCP Certification, Consultancy, Coaching and Training.

Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort

Food safety audits, surveillance visits and consultancy advice is provided to the team across the hotels multiple food outlets with the aim of achieving full HACCP Certification in due course. 

OXY

OXY is an oil and gas exploration and mining company operating from various field locations in Oman.

The Mukhaizna and Ibri locations operate large contracted field catering services with multiple Camp kitchens and Mess dining halls feeding anywhere between one to two thousand meals a day. Food safety is of paramount importance and we provide HACCP development and review assistance to both the OXY client and the catering contractor. Food safety / HACCP audits are delievered on a quaterly basis.

Working at this property for five years, initially developing Food Safety Management tool kits in support of the compancy HACCP based system. Ongoing food safety auditing and consultancy advice.

Al Tasnim Middle East LLC

Al Tasnim Middle East LLC catering company is a group of Al Tasnim Enterprises LLC providing Industrial / Commercial catering and allied services for more than 15,000 employees per day, serving up to 45,000 meals.

Specifically working with the catering services team from the Muscat Coast Region who deliver food from central production kitchens primarily to commercial business and hospital premises; we have provided initial HACCP audits which have led to the development of new documentary HACCP systems.
