More success for SFBB Systems Ltd
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has awarded grants to help more than 5,000 caterers and food retailers improve food safety. This is the fourth year the FSA has given these grants as part of its ongoing commitment to helping food businesses comply with EU hygiene regulations (FSA website 2009).
SFBB Systems Ltd were involved with 3 lead authorities submitting applications for collaborative bids across 12 District and Borough Councils. We have been successful with all 3 applications and are currently mobilizing these projects which will assist 700 businesses over the remainder of this financial year. Projects also include an element of catering student training in 3 local colleges, the trial of ‘drop in SFBB surgeries’ and a large number of follow up short coaching visits to help sustain the implementation of the pack after initial 3 hour coaching.
This is the 3rd round of funding that SFBB Systems has been involved in, we are looking forward to the challenges ahead in delivering three very different projects in completely separate areas of the country.
