15/08/08 HAVANT Borough Council awarded SFBB funding.
Awards for the 3rd tranche of FSA funding have now been announced and following our assistance to Havant Borough Council in drawing up their application they have been awarded funding to target 300 small catering businesses for Safer Food Better Business training. The project will start in September and will involve a mix of food businesses, caterers as well as a new initiative to involve South Downs Catering College students who are on work experience placements. David Lesser, Deputy Environmental Health Manager of Havant Borough Council will lead the project team with William Wood as project manager from SFBB Systems Ltd.
