DIRECTORS EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Directors have Degree or University Diploma professional qualifications relevant to the catering food legislation and inspections and are moving towards the CIEH higher certificate for food inspections. Both Directors have significant experience in managing catering or food related businesses.
  2. Directors are members of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and have CIEH Registered Centre status.
  3. Directors worked as Coaches and Seminar presenters during the initial trials of the early SFBB packs between 2005 / 06.
  4. William Wood worked in liaison with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to feedback experiences and improvements in the development of the version 2 and final SFBB pack. Regular dialogue and involvement with the SFBB team at the FSA has continued and is essential to qualify the services we provide.
  5. William Wood has presented at the FSA’s SFBB Regional Seminar in Taunton in 2006 and at the Salford University HACCP Conference in London in June 2007.
  6. Directors have presented 150 + SFBB Seminars to groups of caterers. These have also included at least 18 interpreted seminars to BME groups.
  7. Directors have set up and delivered sector specific SFBB seminars and bespoke Safe Methods and Diaries for retailers, schools and child minders.
  8. Directors have been actively involved throughout the FSA’s 1 st and 2 nd Round LA funded projects in the UK and have successfully managed SFBB projects for 15 local authorities throughout the South of England and are currently working with Local Authorities to roll out SFBB sustainability projects.
  9. The Directors have carried out over 140 quality assurance checks on coaches during SFBB projects.
  10. The Directors have been responsible in the Project Management and Performance Auditing of the largest FSA funded SFBB project in the UK (North, Mid & South East Cornwall). The FSA grant total was £526,000 and involved 3000 businesses.
  11. William Wood has written end of project reports for three collaborative Local Authority projects.
  12. The Directors and their team have significant business targeting experience, using local authorities’ data bases of registered premises.
