Where can I get a pack and how much does it cost?

Butchers Food Safety Management System (HACCP based) © is copyright protected and can only be obtained by butchers directly through SFBB Systems Ltd.


The cost of the pack and the Coaching is estimated between £450 to £600 per premises and includes an initial Daily Records booklet.

The exact cost will depend on the nature of the business and the amount of support and coaching a proprietor needs to get the pack in place. If more than two Coaching visits are required or return travel distances are greater than 120 miles the cost will increase.

The cost will be established at the time of booking by SFBB Systems Ltd and agreed in writing with the business. All charges are subject to vat at the prevailing rate and payment must be made in full before the pack is issued and the Coaching Plan commences.

Is there any help with meeting this cost?

Butchers businesses may be able to access a grant that is available to help with the cost of the pack and the Coaching. SFBB Systems Ltd is a provider of training services under the Train to Gain Leadership and Management grant scheme and qualifying businesses can be referred by SFBB Systems Ltd to apply for this funding assistance. Typically a business can have all of its coaching paid for up to £500 but would have to match any amount over this up to £1000. Although this process is not complicated there are qualifying criteria that need to be met.
