Welcome
SFBB Systems Ltd have been involved in the Food Standards Agency's
Safer Food Better Business initiative since 2005 and are working for
Local Authorities and catering businesses throughout the UK to help
implement the Safer Food Better Business food safety management system
across small catering businesses and other sectors such as schools,
child minders and care environments.
We are one of a few specialist companies specifically established to provide services in this sector, most practitioners of SFBB services are individual trainers without the insurances, data protection systems, collective experiences, qualifications and support of a larger dedicated team. The company is also recognised by the HACCP team at the Food Standards Agency as a provider of services to Local Authorities within the SFBB framework contract.
The company has an expanding team consisting of two Directors, five
Coaches and a head office of business targeting/administrative personnel.
Led by Directors William Wood and
Nigel Wadge the company has worked with many local authority food
safety teams to roll out either Food Standards Agency funded SFBB
projects, local authority projects where there is no FSA grant funding
or assisting in the sustainability of earlier SFBB initiatives.
Our Local Authority projects:
- South Cambridgeshire District Council
- Huntingdonshire District Council
- Fenland District Council
- Peterborough City Council+
- Cambridge City Council
- East Cambridgeshire District Council
- North Cornwall District Council
- Brighton & Hove City Council
- Wealden District Council
- Eastbourne Borough Council
- Lewes District Council
- Hastings Borough Council
Increasingly the company is partnering with small independent chains or individual food businesses who are valuing the combined experiences and qualifications of our team of coaches who are highly qualified food safety trainers and experienced caterers.
Since 2005 and by the end of the FSA's 2nd round of SFBB funding
in March 2008 the team at SFBB Systems Ltd had presented over 160
seminars and delivered 2800 coaching visits on the completion and
implementation of the SFBB pack.
